  • Laura Jotti: Administration.

    (1948) Born in Genoa, graduated in 1972 at the University of Genoa with a Degree in Economy, from 1995 is Auditor. From 1973 to 1998 she worked for the Genoa Port Authority; in 1986 she was appointed Director of Administration, and from 1996 she added responsibilities on Human Resources and Organization. From 1998 to 2008 she was appointed Director General of  “Finporto Genova spa”. Presently she is administration manager of CISEI.

  • Raffaele Maurici:  Knowledge Management & Technology Expert.

    (1956) Graduated at the University of Genoa, and trained as a creative expert of multimedia and innovation technology. As a scientific researcher he worked in the biomedical field in Italy and abroad, he published papers on major scientific reviews and took part in national and international conferences. He has been creative director of Cap Gemini and Ernst&Young and creative director and administrator of Art &Bit, a society leader in Liguria as a promoter of cultural church heritage. He works for “Finporto” of Genoa as comunication expert and developer of software programs for the port system. From 2011 he is a member of the board of directors for the “Genova Liguria Film Commission”.
    Presently he works at ETT spa (Strategy & Communication).

  • Carlo Stiaccini:  Research coordinator.

    (1974) He works as associate professor of contemporary history at the University of Genoa and he works as a researcher for the department of “Antichità filosofia e storia” (DAFIST). He is member of the board of the “Archivio Ligure of popular history”(ALSP); he is also member of scientific international board of the review “Mnemosyne” published by the University of Louvain. For CISEI he is the scientific and research coordinator for the “Archives Project” and for  the realization of the Knowledge Management System”. In  2009 he has been referent for the “Museo dell’ Emigrazione” of Rome and scientific referent for the “Muma – Istituzione Musei del Mare e della Navigazione” at the Galata Museum of Genoa.

  • Francesca Carminati:  Front office and public relations.

    (1979) Graduated at the University of Genoa with a thesis on Italian emigration in Wales, UK. She cooperated with Cardiff University, in particular with Professor Bill Jones. From 2005 at CISEI, in charge of the public relations; she also takes part in the projects. She presented a paper “Maritime Public Health Sources, Genoa 1830’s – 1850’s” at the AEMI Conference (The Association of European Migration Institutions) in 2008; she helped starting the “Archives Project” where she made the first transcriptions of the Passengers lists.
