The International Centre of Italian Emigration Studies, which was inaugurated in July 2005, is working towards – among other things –
recuperating passenger embarkation lists at the Port of Genoa. However, to this day, lists of names of departing passengers are not available.
However, material concerning the constitution of The International Centre of Italian Emigration Studies (CISEI)
is available on www.porto.genova.it.
To consult transcriptions of the debarkation passenger lists in the main foreign ports of destination (United States and Latin America) it is possible
to take a look at www.altreitalie.it the portal of the Fondazione Giovanni Agnelli in Turin. A visit to our research centre offers the possibility of
having access to our computer network that includes a large amount of material regarding the history of Italian emigration abroad and a small library
